Vertical Screw Conveyor

Vertical Screw Conveyor

Vertical helical conveyors are a widely used method in lifting systems when there is little space in the plant, they are efficient for most materials, and it is cheaper in comparison to other transport methods (bucket elevators), maintenance is Much less compared to a bucket elevator only because the only wear component is the helical.

For better results in your project, we have a testing service in our laboratory, where we have various feeders and vertical elevators, it is enough to send us a sample of your product to submit it to flow behavior analysis in our helical systems.

  • Bega Helical Lifts are designed and manufactured with heavy-duty sectional helices, rigorously constructed and inspected to ensure they have been properly ground and ensure operation will be smooth and eccentric. When handling free-flowing materials, as many stabilizers as needed should be added as the lift height is increased. To meet the diverse needs of our customers, stabilizer bushings are available in a wide range of materials including wood, hardened iron, bronze, UHMW, etc.

  • The design of the Bega Standard Helical Lifts includes tubular troughs with maintenance gates for easy maintenance. The feed section and the bottom section have been designed to ensure that the material is transferred from the horizontal section to the vertical section with minimal recoil and degradation. The lower section inspection panel is bolted and gasketed to prevent material from leaking. Heights of up to 9 meters are recommended. The gap between tubular and helical trough is handled in 1/2 "for most products and 5/16" for products with easy flow and aeration (Easy recoil).
