Shafted Screw Conveyor with variable pitch for use as mud press

Project: Shafted Screw Conveyor with variable pitch built in SS 304 for use as a mud press in wastewater treatment plant.

 

Customer need: Our client, with wastewater treatment facilities in Mexico, required the exact reproduction of a complicated piece of manufacture, part of a system of machines of European origin. The original piece worn by years of use, practically without the possibility of rehabilitating it, had very complex characteristics in the manufacture, progressive step until reaching an elongated step.

Bega Engineering: The initial proposal was to provide us with the drawings, since it was impossible for us to provide the original parts because they were working on their process, which can not stop only in scheduled maintenance, proposals for improvement of manufacturing were made to the piece, increasing the wing  thickness, for greater durability, always respecting the main characteristics of the pieces.

  • Exterior diameter 8"

  • Pitchs: 3", 6", 8", 10" , 12" y 18"

  • Thickness 3/16".

  • Build on  SS-304.
